Faith is what makes real the things we hope for. It is proof of what we cannot see. - [Hebrews 11:1] Faith isnt a proverbial jump out into the abyss. Its the real, understood, reasoned expectation of something that you may NOT be able to see, but which you believe strongly is the case based on the overwhelming amount of REAL evidence! I dont see my heart pumping, I dont understand ALL its intricacies, but the overwhelming evidence of my 40 years of life, my understanding of health and physical rationales behind what makes the heart work (based on others recorded scientific work), the way I live and treat my heart, and generally all I can see, even up to this very moment; ALL that real, reasoned info gives me the FAITH that (God-willing) my heart WILL continue to pump and provide my body with a circulation of life-giving blood today. So it is with God. Your very life bares evidence of His faithfulness, He is working and in control of ALL (even if we do not and will not ever fully understand Him) and there is MUCH life-based, scientific, and brilliantly studied evidence of His Truthfulness!!
