Faith; the language of the Creations Faith is the ability to communicate effectively with God and His creations. Everything we see and do not see was created at the Word of God; and without the Word nothing was created. When the Word was spoken, creations existed. This means that creations existed before there manifestation, but only in the Mind of the Word which was in the Father. This means that, the trees the animals, the earth formations and dynamics, the measure of space and time etc; were all living in the mind of the Word in the Father. Then, the Spirit of God perceived the mind of the Word and lived the desires of the Father that existed in the Word. It is in the same context that Christ spoke of the Holy Spirit; “….. 16:13 But when he,30 the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide31 you into all truth.32 For he will not speak on his own authority,33 but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you34 what is to come.35 16:14 He36 will glorify me,37 because he will receive38 from me what is mine39 and will tell it to you.40 16:15 Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said the Spirit41 will receive from me what is mine42 and will tell it to you.43” [john 16:13-15] The relationship expression that Christ gave us [in john] can as well help us to explain further the wisdom of God in this aspect, “…..15:1 “I am the true vine1 and my Father is the gardener.2 15:2 He takes away3 every branch that does not bear4 fruit in me. He5 prunes6 every branch that bears7 fruit so that it will bear more fruit.” [john 15:1-2] The gardener is God, the owner of the Vine (Word); and the fruit live inside the Vine. The Vine knows that there fruits inside it, as well as the Gardener. But, it takes an inner power that perceives the nature of fruit that a Vine wants to see the fruit. This will in turn mean that in every fruit there is that living power that saw what we now call a fruit; yet was only known to the Gardener and hidden in the Vine. So, this is the point I want to express here, that all creations have there source of life from the Spirit as a fruit to the tree. Therefore because of this, fundamental relationship, the creations can hear when the Spirit speaks; and any one who speaks the language of the Spirit can be heard by the creations. Therefore, faith in common terms; the surety of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see; means that I know how to communicate effectively to God and His creations. Therefore , because I communicate effectively with God and His creation , I know what is coming before it is reveled. So when we speak to the creations ‘standing’ in our position of dominion, creations will listen and obey; “…..1:26 Then God said, “Let us make47 humankind48 in our image, after our likeness,49 so they may rule50 over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth,51 and over all the creatures that move52 on the earth.” [gen.1:26] But, faith is only faith when your heart is as convinced as your lips. When your heart is not completely persuaded and in agreement with your mouth, then there is no faith.. Creations cannot hear words spoken by the fresh, unlike humans; creations only have ears of the spirit. But, even human beings need spiritual ears if they are to hear from the Spirit of the living God; Our Father. So, what you believe in your heart without doubt is speech of authority to the spirit world of creations. Through a medium called faith creations can hear what we are saying to them. “…….11:22 Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God. 11:23 I tell you the truth,36 if someone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”[Mark 11:22-23] Though the application of the scripture above is wider in reference to the life of a Christian, but Christ’s first application was in reference to the withered fig tree; “…..11:12 Now18 the next day, as they went out from Bethany, he was hungry. 11:13 After noticing in the distance a fig tree with leaves, he went to see if he could find any fruit19 on it. When he came to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 11:14 He said to it,20 “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it.21……………………………………11:20 In the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 11:21 Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”[Mark 11:12-21] Christ did not say that if you speak louder and with authority, but if you have faith. In other words however loud you may be, creations do not have physical ears, so they can not hear you. But if what you do with your mouth is what you do with your heart; then the creations will hear what your heart tells them. If your heart doubts what your mouth says then nothing of what you say will happen, but all that you say with your heart will be. For example; if I ask God for a car in prayer; I may be loud, but if my heart does not believe that God can give me a car, then two things will happen. One; people around me may hear me ask for a car, Two; the creations will hear this, “I will never have a car” and they will implement it. In this we note that doubt and fear is negative faith because faith is a language of the spirit world of creations. However to avoid contradictions and confusions we shall maintain positive spiritual confession as faith that brings only possibility in our lives. But, why do we doubt and fear? The reason why we doubt and fear is hidden in lack of three things; the knowledge of space and time, the knowledge of who we are, and the knowledge of who God is. The knowledge of space and time. As in the common physical world; even in the spiritual world of creations all thing work and are accomplished in space and time. What may differ is the measure of space and time and the approach towards work and accomplishment in the two worlds. But one thing is for certain, if you learn both there operational dynamics you cannot be disappointed. Sometimes we don’t get soon or immediately what we pray for, and yet other times we do. Blind Bertimus got his eyes immediately; and yet another man was told to walk a distance to the pool before he got his eyes. But, let’s focus on what we may call a delayed answer to prayer that can breed the poison of doubt and fear. The day Jesus cursed the tree was not the day it withered. The tree withered the next day, “….. 11:19 When evening came, Jesus and his disciples35 went out of the city.11:20 In the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 11:21 Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”[Mark 11:19-21] The ‘past tense’ in peters speech proves that the action was not current, and evening and morning speak of time and space. And this is what Jesus told us, “……11:24 For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”[Mark 11:24] In this scripture Christ tells us that the believing should be now, but timing is Gods. In other words what man calls delay is not God’s denial, but divine process of purpose with all creations in action. When we pray in faith our prayers are heard by God. But, one thing that is very interesting we should know; is that God does not in principle answer your prayers the time you pray, but God answered all your prayers long time ago when He laid the foundations of this world. But how? God has already answered our prayers in what we call ‘His Will’ towards us-man. So when you pray according to ‘His Will’, ‘believe you have received’ the sanctioned answer. Why? Because God’s Will towards man has been made known to the creations as a command. So when you pray in faith all creation moves to action according to the pre-time command they got from God about your life. And that is why; Christ said that when you pray believe you have received. But, I know that someone will ask; what exactly is God’s will towards man or my life? God’s Will is defined in the benefits that Christ brought and bought for us-mankind;- We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. As Lamb He died in our place and before He was slaughtered, there was ‘impartation’. And just like the lamb without defect or blemish; we have been given His glory and he bore all my curses and sins. because of Him you were cleansed, purified and reinstated; “……1:3 Blessed5 is6 the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed7 us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. 1:4 For8 he chose us in Christ9 before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished10 in his sight11 in love.12 1:5 He did this by predestining13 us to adoption as his14 sons15 through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure16 of his will –“[Ephesians 1:3-5] Through Christ, the life that God predestined for Adam and his fruit was given back to me and you. And this life is ‘His Will’, “……1:26 Then God said, “Let us make47 humankind48 in our image, after our likeness,49 so they may rule50 over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth,51 and over all the creatures that move52 on the earth.” 1:27 God created humankind53 in his own image, in the image of God he created them,54 male and female he created them.551:28 God blessed56 them and said57 to them, “Be fruitful and multiply! Fill the earth and subdue it!58 Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that moves on the ground.”59 1:29 Then God said, “I now60 give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the entire earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.61 1:30 And to all the animals of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to all the creatures that move on the ground – everything that has the breath of life in it – I give62 every green plant for food.” It was so.”[Genesis 1:26-30] Therefore it is God’s Will that we may be like Him; He created us in His likeness and image. God has a good life, and He wants us to have the same. He is eternal and wants us to be eternal. “… 3:14 Just as31 Moses lifted up the serpent32 in the wilderness,33 so must the Son of Man be lifted up,34 3:15 so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”35 3:16 For this is the way36 God loved the world: He gave his one and only37 Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish38 but have eternal life.39”[john 3:14-16] . He is wealth, and will never get sick and so does He want you to be. He reigns above every thing, so He does want you to reign with you as a son. He wants you blessed not cursed. He wants you to be in charge of things down here, not the things to be in charge of you. Rejoice! and I say rejoice!; for you were created in love ,joy and happiness; you are the best that God has ever created. God celebrates your happiness and joy; and everything you ask of Him in Christ Jesus, has already been given to you; “…15:7 If you remain22 in me and my words remain23 in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you.24 “[john 15:7] So everything that makes your joy complete in Christ Jesus is yours for asking of God the Father; “…..16:23 ………… I tell you the solemn truth,74 whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.75 16:24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive it,76 so that your joy may be complete.”[John 16:23-24] He says you will receive, because it has been done for you long before time. You were fashioned to bring joy to our God. And our God is not a sadist; but a parent incomparable to our human fathers. He says if we (who are bad) can give good gifts to our children; what about Him who is good? Now that you know Gods’ will for your life, and are certain that your prayers were pre-time answered; there remains another question I believe is on your mind; how long? How long should you wait for the manifestation of the answer? This is as good as asking, how long it takes the fig tree to wither. So figuratively, some ‘fig trees ‘wither immediately, others take one night, others one day. Other ‘fig trees’ take days and nights, others ‘wait for the roosters to come back home’-long time, and others wither longer than a life time – “….13:19 Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for Joseph72 had made the Israelites solemnly swear,73 “God will surely attend74 to you, and you will carry75 my bones up from this place with you.”[Exodus 13:19] It took only Elijah word of faith for the rain not to come for three years . but it took him some trouble to call it back again. In both cases Elijah had faith and could communicate effectively with God and all the creations, but answers came not in the in different spaces of time. However, God will not deny those who love him any good thing, even the good things that come after you have gone to live with Him. But, one thing we must understand, in the process of manifesting the answer the creations have the codes of your purpose from the Father of lights. God’s purpose in your life logged into the creations will allow them time and mode of operation to your answer. If for example, God required before time that your purpose in Christ Jesus needs patience; then when you ask for something, the principles that work to see patience planted in you will be active in the creations as they accomplish that which you asked in prayer. The scripture says that God uses creations to discipline us and generate a God like character in us, “….12:7 Endure your suffering7 as discipline;8 God is treating you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline?”[Hebrew 12:7] Now suffer means to put up with some thing you do not want. In this scripture it is clear that this is not what you want or God wants for his son, but for the sake of discipline the creations must allow suffering to be part of your answer. And this is wisdom; ‘suffering, troubles, and trials are part of the before time answered prayer’, “……:28 And we know that all things work together32 for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, 8:29 because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son33 would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.34”[Romans 8:28-29] So, if you are to conform, you must be subjected to something or someone who will bring you to match up. “….4:1 Now I mean that the heir, as long as he is a minor,1 is no different from a slave, though he is the owner2 of everything. 4:2 But he is under guardians3 and managers until the date set by his4 father.”[Galatians 4:1-2] Therefore, God’s preordained purposes in our lives define how long and what it will take for what we ask to manifest. In this case, make it a point to see your faith grow, from sketches too shades of color and finally master pieces that are priceless; expressed in unquenchable prayers. To cease praying is the vivid evidence that inside you faith has been lost. And were there is no faith, doubt and fear sets in. fear and doubt, are forces enough to command the creation to stop and undo all that has been achieved. And that’s why, when you stop having faith you start sinning; for the forces of creation are working against you at the command of fear and doubt. The knowledge of who we are When you do not know who you are, you will always live in fear and doubt. “………Mar 4:37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. Mar 4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? Mar 4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Mar 4:40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? Mar 4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”[Mark 4:37-41] All that the disciples needed was to command the creations, but because they did not know who they were fear grasped them. And death was about to take them because they had summoned it to action. The disciples didn’t know that God had put all creations subject to man. They lacked the knowledge that when man rebelled, God made the creations to rebel too (God cursed). The creations were now stubborn, rebels at the Spirit Word of God “………Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;”[genesis 3:17] And they did not know that a second Adam was here; and because of the Spirit Word of God that had come with Him, the creations had been brought back to there subjection. “……Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”[john 1:12] The disciples had received Him, but they didn’t know that because of this they had become children of God. And that now all creations will not rebel but obey them. When a Christian fails to understand what God translated him/her to, he will always leave in fear and doubt. He cannot believe that he has the power to change and influence his environment. For were there is fear and doubt, so there is death in the neighborhood. When storms of life rage in a life without faith, death is certain. However, all Christians were not given a Spirit of fear, but of power. This is the power to command, dominate and subdue the creations. And when Christ spoke to the disciples, he didn’t say why you didn’t call me earlier alone. No, He only said (in my words), “why didn’t you speak to the creation; don’t you believe you are sons of God and all creations obey you”. Christ demanded that they should know the Spirit language; the language to the creations. When you do not know who you are, you will still eat with the pigs , but when you learn who you are you will live the pods for the pigs: “…..15:16 He50 was longing to eat51 the carob pods52 the pigs were eating, but53 no one gave him anything. 15:17 But when he came to his senses54 he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired workers have food55 enough to spare, but here I am dying from hunger!”[Luke 15:16-17] The knowledge of who God is. God is the creator of heavens and the earth, of the things we know and of those we do not know. He is Almighty, omnipotent and omniscient. God is truth and love ,so He can never lie. He is faithful and, He is wisdom. But, above all, this awesome God is our Father. Through Jesus Christ He has adopted us. We are sons born to Him by the Spirit. Through his Word, God purposed that we all be brought up by His Spirit ; that we may conform to the likeness of His first born ; Jesus Christ. “…..Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”[Romans 8:29] Then, if this God has called us to sons to Him then he has made us heirs along with Jesus Christ our first born. If you are aware of this, then you will speak with all boldness the language of the Spirit. If we know that God is our Father and we are co-heirs with Christ Jesus then, we can not afford to live out side faith. One thing that we must know is that He will. Learning the Language of the creations If you want to communicate to a Chinese, you must take lessons in mandarin. Any every student who has the hope to communicate with the Chinese will pay attention, study and consider all lesson modules. In the say way, God will take us through series of lessons that can help us to learn Spirit language (language of creations). Most of these lessons come in modules called problems, sufferings, trials and troubles. All these modules are designed in such away that all we got to rely on is God. And if we have to rely on God for whatsoever we want, then we must learn His and creations language. In the wilderness, God was teaching the children of Israel to rely on Him; there modules included, hunger and thirst, appetites and motives, famine and enemies; war and disease. These modules were designed to help the ‘pilgrims’ to learn the language of there only savior. Therefore, according to the scriptures these modules are not designed to make our life hard, but unlimited in the limed setting, “…..2:14 However, in the future I will allure her;56 I will lead57 her back into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. 2:15 From there I will give back her vineyards to her, and turn the “Valley of Trouble”58 into an “Opportunity59 for Hope.” There she will sing as she did when she was young,60 when61 she came up from the land of Egypt. 2:16 “At that time,”62 declares the Lord, “you will call,63 ‘My husband’;64 you will never again call me,65 ‘My master.’66”[hosea 2:14-16] so, if you are to learn this language do not get mad with your teacher. Many times because we do not what is going on we get so mad with God. We start to think that God is not fair and just. We look at the storms hitting or ‘boat’, and this I what we say, “don’t you care if we perish”. We murmur, and grumble; which ushers in doubt and fear. But, today I want you to understand that, you can never know that you need God badly until He is all you got. You can never learn to saw a the best seed until you are convinced that all you got is not enough to meet the troubles you have, but God can take it and meet all your troubles. God must teach all of us that He loves faith; the language of the Spirit world. Because by faith all these thing we want exist, “……11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds3 were set in order at God’s command,4 so that the visible has its origin in the invisible.5.”[Hebrews 11:3] and so must the one who wants them know that he exists by faith and that his existence is as well as the language he must learn to speak. Unfortunately, the only way we can learn this language is when we are in the ‘wilderness’; so when you discover you are in your ‘wilderness’ ,don’t complain like the children of Israel complained and were slain in the ‘wilderness’; instead use every opportunity to learn affluently this beautiful language that will ‘put fresh on your dry bones’. Problems draw us closer to God, so take advantage of your problems to learn faith; exercise it to the fullest. For as you place those problems before God and do all is required of faith, have an unquenchable patience that is supported by unceasing prayer until you see that which you put to the test come to pass. Then you will have a testimony; a certificate of merit in the language of God and His creations. The Growth of Faith The measure of our faith is the measure of our spiritual growth. The more fluent you are of this language, the more you can influence your environment. But, growth as we know it is process; people don’t grow overnight. I have watched my children grow from day one to now 8, 5 and 3. I saw them struggling to craw; they had quite a number of failed attempts, but they were determined to craw. And finally they crawled until the need to walk was irresistible; they didn’t know how to walk, but they believed that they could learn to walk. Difficult as it was, they counted the many falls and the pain that came with as nothing compared to the ability to walk. Finally they walked, and then they had to learn communication, conduct and so many others things that are a requirement that qualify growth in us. They have grown and still growing. They can now influence some of there environment because they can communicate effectively with us. They can influence meals, the color of pencils, and quite a number of activities that make there lives better. But, despite all this achievements, they are not mature enough to influence me to take them to driving school. I want them to drive, but the communication from there age group can not influence me to do for them what they want. However, if they keep growing , they will reach a stage when at there word they will influence me to take them to the driving school. In the scriptures there is a point when the disciples failed to cast a demon. This failure brew an argument; of those who believe and the skeptics. The desciples musthave been saying it works ,and the skeptics must have said , ‘if it works, then cast the spirit out’. “………..9:14 When they came to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and experts in the law30 arguing with them. 9:15 When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran31 at once and greeted him. 9:16 He asked them, “What are you arguing about with them?” 9:17 A member of the crowd said to him, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that makes him mute. 9:18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to cast it out, but32 they were not able to do so.”33 9:19 He answered them,34 “You35 unbelieving36 generation! How much longer37 must I be with you? How much longer must I endure38 you?39 Bring him to me.” 9:20 So they brought the boy40 to him. When the spirit saw him, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He41 fell on the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth. 9:21 Jesus42 asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 9:22 It has often thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you are able to do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 9:23 Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’43 All things are possible for the one who believes.” 9:24 Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!” 9:25 Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked44 the unclean spirit,45 saying to it, “Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” 9:26 It shrieked, threw him into terrible convulsions, and came out. The boy46 looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He is dead!” 9:27 But Jesus gently took his hand and raised him to his feet, and he stood up. 9:28 Then,47 after he went into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?” 9:29 He told them, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”48”[mark 9] Now, when we study the scripture we learn that the desciples , there level of growth in faith couldn’t influence the move of the ‘deaf and dumb’ spirit. They didn’t know how to act when the first attempt didn’t produce the obvious results. When they spoke to the demon and it did not go , they got discouraged and confused. There engagement in an urgument is afact enough to prove that they had lost it. They had sunk in the reams of the skeptics. There fight in the urgument was not with the skeptics , but with them selves . inside them disbileive had started toeat on them and hey were fighting back ; trying to prove to them selves what was steadly eroding away in there hearts. You can not communicate and iflunce your situations that know ( in the Spirit world the creations are very much aware of all of you) that within you there limits to faith – that is, pockets of doubt and fear. Why? Because thes are the avenues the devil will exploit to bring you down and recapture the lost territory. You can not cast out a demon that knows that you can only make 4 attempts and after that you will loose hope. This demon will hold on until your faith fails. This way of communication in the Spirit world is for the young. It is for this reason that Christ calls all of them (disciples inclusive) unbelieving. Unbelieving people are people of little faith; peoples whose language faculties of God and the creations are under developed. They have the faith to take there problems to God, but are not certain He can do anything to ‘turn the tables in there favor’. They have the faith in God, but only for a limited time. Our faith must mature to the extent that we are persuade and convinced that what we have spoke will be done now or some time later , but it has to be done. In maturity of faith, there is no room for doubt and time lines. All the creations must not see double mindedness in you. When Christ appeared, a man of mature and developed faculties of faith; creations responded immediately because they knew what he was telling them, “…[mark 9:20]…… When the spirit saw him, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion.” Unlike , our Lord Jesus Christ, Elijah was a man like us but he was well conversant with this language; he knew creations had heard him and heard to respond. He never had a room of doubt, that is why the scriptures say ‘he prayed earnestly’, “……5:17 Elijah was a human being18 like us, and he prayed earnestly19 that it would not rain and there was no rain on the land for three years and six months! 5:18 Then20 he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land sprouted with a harvest.”[james 5:17-18] In praying for the rain to come, Elijah did not wait for a dark cloud to tell Ahab that it was going to rain heavily on the land. Elijah just knew how to communicate effectively with God and the creations. He knew that the rains are by Gods law mandated to obey him and that his command had been pre time sanctioned by God. And above all he knew the language of the rains and to communicate effectively to it. Despite all this, the rain didn’t come when he spoke to it in the first attempt, but Elijah was sure beyond the scope of doubt that the creations will repond. (to be continued)
