Fall Creek Falls First Friends Hiking Event Details: Fall Creek Falls is a beautiful natural area about 1 hour north of Chattanooga with several water falls and many vistas displaying the vibrant fall colors on the trees. There will be easy and moderate hiking trails available and places where even if someone just wants to relax and enjoy the scenery without hiking they can still have a great time. After hiking, there is a wonderful restaurant at the Inn in the park . The restaurant has a fantastic buffet with plenty of vegetables, salads, meats and deserts available. The cost is 15.95 + tax per person. It is half price for children. They also offer off the menu items if someone wants that instead. You can see pictures of this park by going to tnstateparks and selecting Fall Creek Falls from the list. We will meet at 10:00 a.m Saturday morning October 25, 2014 at the First Friends Student Center on McCallie Avenue (where we have our activities). From there we will travel together to the park. We will have water for you but you need to bring a snack or bag lunch if you want one while we are hiking. Bring $20 to $25 , comfortable shoes and a jacket or sweater. We should return @ 6:00 pm to Chattanooga. I have not given much notice for this event due to having a very busy schedule this week for which I apologize.
