Fall Midrasha Master Teacher Series with Professor Marc Brettler at Temple Isaiah The Dead Sea Scrolls, now on exhibit at the Museum of Science, are considered the greatest archeological discover of the twentieth century. By looking at selected scrolls (in English), we will explore the community that wrote them, its history and theology, and the importance of the scrolls for understanding the development of the Bible and rabbinic Judaism.
