Fall out from The Ferguson Riots: It is without question how badly race relations have been set back as demolition plans begins in Ferguson Missouri. In America today we have Democrat vs. Republican, rich vs. poor, old vs. young, minority vs. majority, cop vs. citizen, fat vs. skinny.. I mean its really getting that ridiculous. And as the dust settles, yes, black vs. white. Have we really become that divided? Unfortunately yes.. We have. The situation in Ferguson has created a larger setback than anyone can comprehend in the years to come. Businesses more than likely wont reopen because of fear of further unrest. CEOs of corporations are considering pulling stores from black neighborhoods. Several business leaders are less likely to invest in neighborhoods of color. Charities are even considering the fall out not mention the damage done to the black cause. This is the biggest shame about this whole mess. The race pimps have no idea how angry people of their own race are becoming and by no way do they care. To them its just another attempt to show how evil the white man is. Heres the problem with that. The white man as they remember him is a whole different white. There are several different mixed races and immigrants that this narrative is dying out. So many different shades of white whose families never owned slaves nor know of a world of bigotry. With Asian, Latino, Indian and other mixed race people becoming more influential in America society its hard to make the argument. Not to say there isnt racism today, its just becoming a dying part of American life. People forget that some of the first slaves in America were white. Yes.. White. Yet they are included in the white american narrative. I so strongly reject this ignorant ideal. So what will divide us next? As these riots calm down and we look at each other sideways during Christmas time lets not try to forget we all have a stained past. Lets try to get through this conversation by loving one another, breaking bread with one another, laughing with one another and break through these differences as Americans. If we still can. GW~
