They have a block of 68 rooms available. hotelmead Red Knights WI VI The Ride to the Wall is Saturday, August 23rd. This ride will be our first open-to-the-public fund raising ride. All profits from the ride will be donated to the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial in Wisconsin Rapids. We will be organizing at Osseo Fire Department on Saturday the 23rd at 12:00pm and riding to Augusta to honor our fallen brother from Augusta Fire, Robert Waskiewicz who was killed in the line of duty in 1994. We are working on finalizing the route and stops for that day. We will muster outside of Wisconsin Rapids with the other Knights groups in WI as well as several other FF Motorcycle clubs from throughout the state and doing a formalized ride to the Memorial for a ceremony of support for our fallen brothers and sisters as well as support for the memorial. We are charging $25 for the first rider and $10 each passenger. You dont have to ride a cycle to participate. Cars are welcome for the same entry fee and will follow the procession to Wisconsin Rapids. Please join us on this ride to honor our sisters and brothers who gave their all and share this ride with others in the community so that they can show their support for the Memorial. We hope to get as many or our members as possible to make the ride. There is a group staying in Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday night and some returning to Osseo Saturday evening. Its your choice what you wish to do. Ill have more information shortly about hotels in the area, but I believe all three Knights groups will have a small group staying so the plan will be to spend some time getting to know our Knight brothers from WI 4 and WI 5.
