Falstaff Museum. What can I say? Well how about this was one of our best venues EVER. It was a great night. As always I like to give a review of the night and last night will be no different. I love this location. Its one of the best museums I have ever been in and find that every time I go I want to spend my time looking at the displays and the very scary wax work dummies. Ha. It was a bit breezy last night and the wind was picking up when we first arrived and there was certainly a chill in the air. Getting all of our equipment (we have a lot so it took a while) inside the base room and entering the warmth it provided was a very welcoming feeling. John the owner was there waiting for us and he is the friendliest chap and very passionate about what he does. Nice bloke. All the guests were now here, John was patiently waiting to start and the team geared up and raring to go. So once John had done his Health & Safety talk and then take the guests into the building for a history walk the rest of the team checked we had everything to get setup. The great thing about having so much equipment is that we have a much better chance of capturing that all important evidence and record something on the night. The downside is that we end up will a huge amount of bags to carry. They are heavy too. Lol. I love waiting in the base room, cup of coffee in my hands and enjoying the silence of the moment. Eyes closed and excited about the night that was going to unfold. I love this subject. I have a real passion for it and every since being a child and first learning about ghosts has stayed with me. To believe there really is life after death. To live a hard life and yet know that you will still be rewarded for it. I am a firm believer in Spirit and also God but I do not like to preach :) So when we host these nights its much more than just about herding guests around from room to room. We are all investigators on the night. The guests hold and use the equipment along with ourselves and take baseline readings and throughout the night keep an eye on any EMF fluctualtions and tempreture changes. This is an investigation after all. Once all the guests had come back from there walk around the museum I started my talk (lecture some would call it. Ha) and touched upon our own Health & Safety measures and what 2 Haunted Venues are about and why we do what we do. There is a reason for it. As usual my team took the micky out of me. Ha. Cracker joke anyone? But I am used to that by now. I like to think of myself as a fairly easy going Medium (you dont talk to dead people without expecting some sarcasm to come your way. You have to be thick skinned to be a Medium). Once my war and peace speech was over the night began. We always try to adapt and change our venues depending on where we are and also what else we can do to try and get Spirit to interact with us. Usually at Falstaff Museum we end the night in the attic with a seance. Tonight was going to be different. I made sure that we opened to Spirit at the beginning of the night and the guests were protected and then we all headed upstairs to the attic to start. Turning things around from what we have done before. The idea is that we open the night with a Circle of Communication. This is not a seance. Just starting the ball rolling. Building the energy. The lights stayed on. We settled into our chairs in the errie attic and I called out to Spirit. As always it builds slowly. The atmosphere was changing in the space, we could feel that someone was approaching. I was at the table myself, closed my eyes and tried to visualise who it could be? The first time we visited the museum I was badly affected by someone in Spirit I called the Burning Man. When he passed he was trapped in a fire and burnt to death. He was still a priosner of that moment and could not seem to move on. There is no reason why this should happen though. Once the soul has been released the energy is free, unless the Spirit is trapped in the moment of course. The person mentally scared by their death experience. This was the case with this man and he was strong enough to try to come into my aura. Now for those that do not believe or those that are sceptical that is fine but I can honestly say the end result of that was genuine. Unfortuntaly the very poor video quality of that night does not reflect this. High defination would have reavealed much more. My face said it all and changed but you will have to take my word for that. It was frightening for all of those that witnessed it though. It is understandable but cannot be deemed as real evidence on that alone. But he was back never the less. As is usual with him he was very agressive and angry. He was pushing the backs of the guests chairs and the table jolted. He was making a point of not wanting us to be there. What was interesting though was that he stayed away from me, he did not try to affect me like last time? I did feel the floor underneath me banging though and many of the people in the room could hear that under the large table as well. Loud bangs and a great deal of pushing. However amongst all this negive energy there was a bright light of a very shy and kind soul. A young girl called Annabelle. She died around the age of 6 or 7 years of age. She was very quiet and extremely nervous to be with us all. Which lets face it is completely understandable. Like the Burning Man she had visited us before on a previous investigattion. She is usually followed by her older sister who never talks to us. There is an air of illness around them and even the possibility they were posioned and contrabuted to their deaths. This young girl is a postive soul and still remains that way in the world of spirit. She had taken a liking to one of our team members called Emma and stayed close to her most of the night. Emmas leg was freezing cold and everytime Annabelle moved away from her the sensation eased and when she returned the sensation started again? The young child hide behind Emma for protection and I believe the reason might have been because the investigator reminded her of her own mother in spirit. Very interesting. Both Annabelle and the Burning Man could see each other across the room but I made sure that she was safe and away from him. His anger was fueled when we spoke to the child. Annabelle tried her hardest to make the pendulum on the table move and she was getting very close to the guests as well and they could feel it. Their hands freezing cold (apart from one man who was burning up) as they rested them on the table. The whole experience lasted for over an hour and it was very emotional. Annabelle stayed with Emma most of the night. The interesting thing was that we always try something different and came up with the idea of actually splitting half the night with the lights staying on and the second half plunged into darkness. The advantage of this is that when the lights are still on everyone can see properly what is happening. There is no faking with us. If it happens then its real and they can see that with their own eyes. So when the guests and the rest of the team moved to the lower floor and spread out it was very interesting to see what would happened. At one point the chimes were moving at quite a speed, almost like they were drawing circles on the top of the table. Moving in the direction we asked, not a single sound coming from them throughout the experience which was interesting? The Spirit Light took a while to react but eventually it flickered into life, coming on and off when asked and there are no hidden wires or switches here. The guests can pick up any of our equipment and see for themselves. We actually encourage it. The writing plancette started the spell out the letter A and then a picture was being drawn. That was fancinating to witness. The Ouija table also spelt out a mans name, age and also how he passed but we are looking into this before we can confirm if that was genuine. The pendulum was also very interesting as it was the chain that actually moved, vibrating but the crystal at the end of it stayed perfectly still? Strong K2 activity as well and all in all a fantastic first half of the night. After a quick break, tea and coffe and even fancy biscutes provided :) we started walking towards the first floor of the museum. The lights remained on until everyone was in postion and raring to go. Then the light went out. It is a very different experience when everyone was plunged into darkness. We were all ready. K2s switched on. Spirit Doll illumiumed in the darkness. Ghost Box quietly hissing away. Mel Meter ready. The electricity of the Plasma Ball firing away in the gloom. Chimes, Ouija Board and Pendulms positioned on the tables. REM Pod switched on. Laser Grids in place. A EMF and tempreture sweep already done and recorded beforehand. All we now needed was Spirit interaction? We called out. We asked for someone to come forward. All of us excited and eager from what happened earlier. Still we waited. Nothing? It soon became apparent that apart from limited movement on the Ouija Board, Chimes slightly swinging, possible shadows moving in the darkness and broken voices through the Ghost Box they did not want to communicate with us. It felt we were being circled by invisable forces but this was limited paranormal activity. It was a shame. We wanted so much more after what has already happened. It was then that we all voted to head up into the attic again for the seance. It was then that it really started to kick off. Once all the guests and the team went back into the attic, the lights switched off and with just our red finger lights illuminating the space I called out. It did not take long for the activity to start. A negative male energy came forward, this was not the Burning Man. This was someone else. The red Laser Grid at the far end of the room near the door had movement in it, breaking the beams of light. Something was thrown and noisely hit the floor. There was pushing of some of the guests, a feeling of oppression. Banging sounds coming from somewhere below us. This energy was negative, hostile and did not want to talk to us. But as before on the earlier Circle of Communication Annabelle came forward again. She took some time to speak to us and was very frightened. She again could see the other man but did not seem so frightened about him. I kept her safe though. Her energy was very strong but when I asked her to move the table she still struggled, which is understandable. She is just a child after all. We tried various ways to get interaction from her like moving the pendulum but it was limited. It was then that the tapping started. Now this was something new for us. We have done many investigations and communication via tapping has never really happened before? It was worth the wait. It was strange as when she responded to our questions the sounds came from various parts of the room. Mostly underneath the table we was sitting around but it travelled all over the place. 1 tap for No. 2 taps for Yes. She answered our questions. She moved over to the K2s and made them light up when we asked. All three on the table bursting into life. When we asked her to move she did and they went off again. She struggled with the REM Pod though? However the table did move enough to be felt by all of the guests. She touched peoples hands and made them feel very cold. The tempreture dropped dramtically. Throughout the session we had three guests sitting on chairs in a large copper Pyramid in a seperate room at the back of the attic that the museum had created for Mediums like myself to use as a channel for the energy. These three people were being touched, felt ice cold and could sense spirit was close to them in the darkness throughout that time. However we could not forget about the negative male. He pushed the back of the guests chairs. He banged under the flooring. He made his presance known. Still Annabelle was the star of the night. It was very emotional when she told us that she wanted to move on. She did not want to stay in this building. That she was frightened. She also confirmed that she was alone in this place. This made me start to think that her older sister might actually have been just a memory and not actual physical spirit energy? There was no interaction from her at all. No communication so that would make sense? This was a young girl that was lonely and scared. After the night was over I helped her to move on. She went willingly and it did not take long. She is now free. Her spirit able to soar once again. This was a fantastic night. Unbelievably great guests. Everyone of them up-for-it. Trust me that makes all of a difference. Those that sit there and say nothing give no energy and those nights can be flat. No energy for Spirit to work with. This Halloween Special was however one of the best nights that the 2 Haunted Venues team have ever had. Well done guys. I am proud of you all. We are 100% professional and treat this as a real investigation. We are respectful of the location (just ask the owners of these buildings) and treat the subject matter with the wonder and awe it deserves. The night did not end until 4am and we was all very tired. Great night though. Now we cannot wait for the next one at the Hinckley Museum. We will be going back to Falstaff Museum in 2014 so watch this space. 2hauntedvenues Falstaff Museum. What can I say?
