Families and friends are curious and asked me as to why/who/what inspired me being a strict vegan. Ive received texts, emails, PMs, and even surprised phone calls. So I thought Ill just post it here to share with all at once. I was not raised as vegetarian/vegan and was free to choose my own religion. But I wanted to live a much better lifestyle with a clear conscience. I want to live happy, healthy, and compassionately as I was being taught to be kind to others. Beside the fact Im animal lover my entire life and recent animal activist. I was also influenced by watching Earthlings, No Meat, and becoming very unhappy with what I was raised to eating whatever I wanted because my parents were not well-informed. And later on I found out how much I was disgusted with all the injustice I was contributing to killing defenseless/voiceless animals and harming our planet🌎 because of what I was eating, wearing, and my lifestyles took a 90 degree turn over a new leaf and Ive never been more happier😀. And by watching this very well-informed amazing presentation lectured by Gary Yourofsky “Why Vegan?? The best intellectual lecture I 💗 more than all those courses Ive ever learned in my College years. Ive re-watched it again today and wish to share. This video have added awakening🎆 to my soul and spirit wholeheartedly💞. People eat meat, cheese, milk and eggs for 4 reasons: 1.) Habits 2.) Tradition 3.) Convenience 4.) Taste. I guess these are the meat-eaters continuously making excuses like I once was prior to learning more in depth knowledge about the diary farm, slaughter houses, fur industry, factory farm, etc. My fave quote: If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian. ~by Paul McCartney. I really wish my parents shown/taught me about this early on in life.
