“Family Fun - Paint Out at the Chapman” - The Chapman Historical Museum in downtown Glens Falls invites the community – young and old – to participate in our Family Fun Paint Out at the Chapman on Saturday August 9, 2014, from 10am to 12:30 pm. Artists will be setting up all over Glens Falls to paint; and the museum is one of the designated spots. We would also like for families to join in the fun! We will have tables and paints set up in our front yard, with two examples of paintings from our collection. You and your family are invited to drop in and try out some watercolors and paint like Harriet Bentley, or add your own touches to a Betsey Clough painting. Painting will be done indoors in case of rain. There is no charge for the Paint Out event; if you want to tour the museum regular admission fees will apply.
