Family, I am having a great time in Martinique and the organization Nia Khepera is proving the perfect host. For one thing, I am staying at an African-owned hotel. We must practice what we preach and spending money with other Black people is a good thing. This morning was especially nice. I was taken to the former office of one of our greatest Ancestors here--Aime Cesaire. I loved it. And then to two book stores. As a gift I received a book about a revolutionary 19th century sister here--Lumina Sophie (1848-1879). And then, at another African-owned business, I had large quantity of fresh juice made from local fruits while conversing about African traditions in Martinique. Yes, it was a good morning. And tonight is my big presentation! Ase!
