Family, I am now in Brussels, Belgium. I have been in Europe for four days now and have visited London, England, Amsterdam and Breda in the Netherlands, and Halle and Brussels in Belgium. I am very tired. I would be tired at any rate but the responsibility of leading a tour group of fifty is exhausting. Many different personalities and personality quirks, including my own! The tour is historic. To my knowledge it has never been done before. It is an African heritage tour. Yesterday we did the Black Amsterdam Heritage tour coordinated by Jennifer Tosch and focusing on the Africans taken away from the Motherland by the Dutch to Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles, and today we were hosted in Breda by the African womens organization known as Marshe Breda. Following that we drove to Halle, Belgium to see the miraculous Black Madonna at the Basilica of St. Martin. Three very positive experiences. I am tired! Hope that you are well.
