Isaac Ruto To: All Newsrooms Date: 24 October 2014 Ms. Emmy Chepng’etich Ruto, 16 June 1989 – 24 October 2014 With humble acceptance of God’s will and profound sorrow, the family of H.E. Isaac Ruto EGH, the Chairman of the Council of Governors & Governor Bomet County, and Eng. Mrs. Esther Ruto, of REA ( Rural Electrification Authority) regrets to announce the passing on of their beloved daughter, Ms. Emmy Chepng’etich Ruto, who passed on at the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi, this morning. Until her untimely death, Emmy was an electrical engineer with Geothermal Development Company, Nakuru. She was also the Captain of the Kenya National Women’s Cricket Team. We thank God for the privilege of Emmy’s life and her wonderful deeds for us and country, during her short pilgrimage in this world. We also thank all the friends, relatives and doctors who stood with us during the Emmy’s short ailment. Funeral and burial plans will be announced later. We will greatly miss Emmy.
