Family and friends will celebrate the life of my wonderful mother Wanda Briggs this Saturday at the Baxter Church of Christ at 1:00 PM where she has been a member since 1966. She passed on November 7th at age 91. We plan to allow those who loved her and were touched by her in anyway during her life to share a special story or experience they had with her or comment on what she meant to them. She was such a giving person, never critical, always encoraging others, and teaching forgiveness and love with every breath and action. We will also remember moms sister Lois Anderson who died just a month before my mom. Both of them donated their bodies to Vanderbilt Anatomical Donor Program in one last unselfish act. Both ladies left their mark and influence on us all. They are responsible for teaching myself and others all we hold dear.
