Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Tabernacle Baptist Church of which the Rev. Dr. Charles E. Goodman, Jr., is pastor and the Rev. Henry Edmonds, eulogist. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. Mr. Rabb, a native of Fairfield County, was a retired educator from the Richmond County Board of Education, retiring from the Richmond Academy High School. He was a 1971 graduate of Crorey-Liston High School, Blair, SC and a 1975 graduate of S. C. State College, Orangeburg, SC. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Savelas Rabb, Germantown, MD; four sisters, Margaret (Morris) Eldridge, Severna, MD; Mattie Williams, Columbia, SC; Kathy Barnes and Michele Rabb, Jenkinsville, SC; three brothers, Nathan F. Rabb, Jr., Los Angeles, CA; James (Willie) Rabb, Waterboro, SC and Sylvester Rabb, Carson, CA; one aunt, Mattie Martin, Savannah, GA; two uncles, Casper (Vernilla) Glenn, Duarte, CA and Lawrence (Vivian) Glenn, Detroit, MI; a host of other relatives and friends.
