Family, friends, and co-workers...Im asking you to donate to the residents of Cambridge Apartments in Raleigh NC on Six Forks Road. You probably dont know them personally but theyve suffered the devastating loss during an apartment fire yesterday afternoon. cambridgeapartmentsnc.net/ This subject is close to my heart because I too have suffered this loss, twice. Once in college when my own residence burned down and then again during a time when I worked at an apartment community that had a building fire. Apartment fires devestate peoples lives. Imagine waking up having nothing! Get up tomorrow morning and think about the personal products that you use and take for granted.... Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Body Wash, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Make Up, Hairbrush, Blow Dryer, Flat Iron, Curling Iron....the list goes on and this is all before you have gotten dressed or made it to work (or school)! Many people think that renters insurance covers all of that. And it does cover the expense, IF you have insurance. But it also takes time to make a claim that large. This first week....you are on your own! Please donate what you can or have. Gift cards to Target, Walmart, and Restaurants are preferred so they can buy what they need, but anything you have is welcomed!
