Fan Question! *Destiny My husband and I are about to divorce over money. When we first married I was about to graduate college and become a teacher. unfortunately there have been no teaching jobs for me to get... so I work for my dad (who I worked for when we first got together) and take jobs cleaning peoples houses. I also run my own business. I take care of the kids, my son, our daughter and his son too. He runs off to play practices and out to eat with friends, but I am left with no money, when I probably make more or at least as much as him. Last night he said he was going to start giving me an allowance. Granted I have a $600 car payment, but I am making much more than enough to cover the car, pay other bills and be able to take the kids to do something once a weekend or so... I used to take care of the money, but he said the bills werent getting paid... even though our power never got cut off (it has since hes started managing the money)... I am so sick of this. I mozied thru summer with no new clothes for the kids bc he said they had stuff to fit. I gave everything that didnt fit my son, to him to send to his babys mama for his sons back to school clothes, when my kids didnt have ANYTHING. Now its getting cold and they have nothing. I asked for $5 and he said I should cook and clean and stop sleeping... all I do is clean, I try to cook when I am not dog tired exhausted but thats rare... bc I HAVE NO HELP. Im starting to think leaving him, going to stay with family until I can get some money saved up... but at least Id have some money. Not to mention, I bought the car in May, and still dont have a tag... even though Ive given him the money to buy it like 3x. Id buy my kids some clothes and the tag for my car first thing... I took the credit card # to order them some clothes but he flipped out... so now my kids will be running around it shorts in 46° weather any suggestions on how to fix this before i step away for good.
