Sisters Atmosphere Independent When Sisters announced earlier this year that they were taking a different musical direction, I didn’t know what to expect! Anytime someone makes that kind of announcement, it makes me nervous because it could spell the end of a viable ministry if the direction is too drastic and the fans are turned off and not enough new fans quickly take a liking to the music. My fears were put to rest when I heard “Atmosphere”. No, this isn’t Southern Gospel, but it fits Sisters perfectly and is a natural musical progression for these ladies. Make no mistake, the soaring harmonies and tight syncopations which are hallmarks of Sisters’ sound is still there at the forefront, but here is a fresh sound that is highly contemporary and far from what many think is Southern Gospel; and I like it! There is absolutely nothing these ladies can’t sing…and this recording proves it! Sisters Atmosphere Independent What can be said about these girls....they could sing the phone book and folks would buy it! While this project is a different feel for them, it is full of some great worship music, and Kim, Heather and Valerie have never sounded better! Sisters Atmosphere Independent This is a departure from Southern Gospel but a true worship album. Stunning vocals as always.
