Fanstory *The Last Seconds* by Karshini part 4 It was the second week third day when Anhay as like everyday filled my hospital private room with flowers. I smiled. He was making my every last second memorable and beautiful. My condition was going worse from day to day. I barely kept awake now. I was sleeping or dreaming the dreams which I’ll never be able to fulfil with the love from my life. Just two days back Anhay had brought Litze and Lizze, my two dog retrievers to meet me! The hospital had forbidden Anhay to do it, but as always he was adamant. I had so much fun! But I wasn’t responding to meds anymore. The tumour was spreading too fast. I was having killer headaches. Anhay was always with me. From day to night he was always with me. The doctors were a little surprised at my condition. In spite of all this Anhay always managed to keep a smile on my face. He gave me strength to deal with all this. He was truly MY GAURDIAN ANGEL. “You are feeling okay... aren’t you?” he said massaging my head one late afternoon day. I nodded slightly and i smiled. I wasn’t able to speak anymore. I barely kept awake now. “Ok darling, you rest okay?” He said getting up and kissing my head. My hand tightened around his hand. I didn’t want him to go. He smiled and said “I will be back in a minute, the doc has called me.” He went away, i looked at the ceiling feeling pity on my situation and blaming myself for Anhay’s condition. Suddenly i felt my breath shortened. I was feeling dizzy. I felt a little pain in my chest increasing. I twitched around. The pain was increasing. I was finding difficult to focus around myself now, I suddenly remembered the emergency switch beside my bed and pressed it. The pain was too much now. I was drowning in that pain. The door opened and Alice rushed in followed in by my two doctors. “NOO she’s sinking” Alice shouted after checking my heartbeat. “We need the shocks now, yes Alice.” “No. Mr.Agarwal you need to keep out.” I was barely able to see and hear anything. I felt shocks on my chest, the pain was unbearable, I felt something break inside of me, i tried to held on to something anything but then I BLACKED OUT.
