Fantasy League update Week 3: Birthday Boy Plummer secures top - TopicsExpress

Fantasy League update Week 3: Birthday Boy Plummer secures top spot over international break. Mikey P edged out Danny Bentley for top spot with a respectable 61 points. Danny could have been well out the picture had he not masterminded Sanchez as his skipper for the weekend. There are some evident groups being developed now, top 2 have a comfortable lead with a steady group of title challengers just behind going from Pete Cassidy down to Aaron Lord. The mid table obscurity group has some potential big names that could push up and cause a stir with Speighty, Ryan Menzies and Matty Kearns all rising up from the previous weeks position. At the bottom... well, these lads need to take advantage of the international break and have a real look at their teams as the gap between them and the chasing packs arent getting any better. Performer of the week goes to Hodge, who either totally forgot to change Costa as his skipper or took an unbelievable punt on him being fit in time. Matty Kearns drove him close to best performer but was let down by Dzeko not really getting a look in at the shock result of the weekend at the Etihad. Clown of the week has a couple of candidates - we are glad to exclude Carlos from this as he has finally got himself off bottom spot, only to be replaced by the man from down under - Gav Menzies. The prime candidates and probably worthy of a joint award is Dan Ellis (again) and Hayesy, who were the only 2 players to get less than 30 points this week... might be worth reading the rules to the wild card option gents #justsaying
