Far be it from me to speak my mind. And soon Ill be signing off. I have lived in Wilmington for 30 yrs. but its been North Wilmington so we are a little secluded from the problems of the downtown. I have a business in the outskirts of downtown Wilmington & I am completely disgusted & embarrassed by the behavior of the young black community who have used the issues of Ferguson, MI. as a platform to act like the oppressed, discriminated individuals who suffer from band wagon syndrome. Watch the video, read the facts, make an intelligent observation & decision about the circumstances that led up to this unfortunate incident. All I have witnessed on the streets this evening is disrespect & tension from our black youth. This is a national & local problem the community & its leaders need to address. The Jacksons & Sharptons are opportunists who have worn out their welcome. Only the uninformed & misguided will listen to their bullshit! The esteemed mayor of this fine city has not addressed this, the president of this fine country has not addressed this. Everyone should feel embarrassed, misled & disgusted!
