Farewell Martha. I loved, just loved playing you in Tas Theatre Cos Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf? up at the Dorney House. It was an exhilarating and exhausting ride but always, always a pleasure working with Jeff Michel, Karissa Lane, Rowan Harris, Max Ford and an enthusiastic army of FOH volunteers. Keeping a watchful eye from afar was director Sue Benner and assistant director Ivano Del Pio. And keeping a watchful eye on the twisting road leading up to the House was TTCs Charles Parkinson - artistic director, set builder, bus driver. This was all your fault Parky! Lets do it again. Thank you to everyone who came to see the show, from theatre first timers to veterans. Your generous applause, comments, hugs and flowers were so appreciated. And finally thanks too to Guy Hooper for keeping the home fires burning and providing the following inspiration in my opening night card: May your Martha be the twisted, tragic, middle-aged predatory cougar that only you can make her.....
