Farewells to Fr Paul Murphy and Mr Tommy McKenna Fr Paul Murphy will celebrate Mass in St Patrick’s Cathedral on Saturday 6 September at 7pm. After the Mass, there will be a gathering in The Synod Hall where refreshments will be served and parishioners will have an opportunity to bid farewell to Fr Paul. On the same evening, we will also acknowledge Mr Tommy McKenna who has retired as Sacristan in St Malachy’s Church, having served there for the last sixteen years. It’s hoped that parishioners will make a special effort to join on the evening to acknowledge Fr Paul and Tommy for their commitment to their work in our parish.
