Farmers nowadays are facing production, procecing, conservation and marketing problem on farm produce. These problems include among others: The cost and scarcity of agro pastoral imputs. The inaccessibility of production zones The poor and painstaking nature of working condition Poor commercialisation of farm products. Absence communication network. This observation reveals that if the policies that have been drawn up in relation to the agricultural and rural sectors were well designed, a significant propotion of the foreign currency assets allocated to this expensive important could have been used to improve the agro pastoral sector of this geographical and economic space and make it more competitive.
