Farrahs bloodwork was not good yesterday. She is severely neutropenic as she usually is after a round of chemo. This means if she gets a fever of 101 or higher then she will be admitted to the hospital because her body is not able to fight any infection. The oncology doctors are still believing her eye is not tracking due to vincristine chemo. This type of chemo can cause cranial nerves to malfunction or be paralyzed. Most often, the nerves regain function if the chemo is stopped. We dont have chemo again for three weeks so we have time to observe any changes and see her Opthamologist next week. She currently is wearing her fancy eye patch during waking hours and switches eyes every two hours. She says all better every time we take it off. Shes quite adorable in the little patch and doesnt complain. Shes playing now like nothing is wrong and is not symptomatic in any other way. Please continue your outpouring of prayers for our precious girls.
