Fascinating how the litter dynamics have shifted a bit. With five now instead of nine, they are somewhat more focused on me. Now, all nine were also oriented on me, no question, wanting my attention and piling all over me when I got in the pen. But there were always so many vying for space in my lap and arms that at some point a few would wander off, or start playing with one another. With only five, there are fewer sibling distractions, and of course fewer for me to divide my attention among. Sophie leaves Tuesday, so it will be interesting to see if that causes any changes as we go from five to four, and then that weekend another will depart. This is the largest litter Ive raised, so it was new territory. It is different from raising 5-6.
