Fashion, in the past, was also used to restrict and describe others place in society. Women, for instance, in the 40s and 50s, were not allowed to wear pants in public, if at all. Today we can see it in classes of people. The wealthy adorning themselves in the best of the best, the finest of finest; while the classes below, usually relegated to less expensive fashion. However, the benefit here, is that those who cant afford what we see celebrities and wealthy society wearing, we see a wealth of creativity, expression making and even, deciding, the next trend. So remember, dont let fashion dictate where society puts you, yet embrace what tools you have to bring fashion to the forefront, the future and to those who deserve the creative view from which this fashion comes. Embrace that creativity and make it yours, make it impactful and watch as those who want to emulate your fashion no matter how much money you have or dont. Society may not be equal, but fashion is!!!
