Fasilat ruled out for Kogi Queens, Esther Seeks Victory over Delta Queens Esther Nkhuse Victor says she and her teammates are fully prepared to take pocket the three points against Delta Queens in a week-eleven Nigeria Women Football League tie on Sunday. Esther who is the captain of Lokoja based Women League side said after on Saturday morning training that her teammates at Confluence Queens holds no fear for Delta Queens as they are battle ready to overcoming the oil-rich visiting Asaba based. Amidst concern over the sudden exit of five first team players from the club, the departure of five-player will have no bearing on the performance as they have a great depth of players’ quality and good technical crew, the 2012 Women League Super-Six bronze medalist notes. Despite emotionally shattered the loss of key defender, Fasilat Adeyemo to a hamstring injury, still believes if they collectively work hard, the victory is sure though absence will be massively missed. “We are hoping for the victory, we pray to God for support to pick the three point – we have to work hard as Delta Queens will be a tough encounter. She further said, “We will greatly miss Fasilat Adeyemo who is out injured but still are still together as a team to get back to winning ways as to justify the support of the government and get some pride for ourselves.” In a related development, the Team Manger of Confluence Queens, David Owolabi has confirmed the departure of five first team players from the club on mutual consent, added the club is hastily shopping for replacement. We reliably gathered the five players has left the country to accept national team role with Equatorial Guinea. The five players are Widapo Oluwatobilola, Okorafor Ruth, Ogunleye Kehinde, Adeniyi Abimbola and Gbadebo Oluwasheyi.
