Fast forward to 2:45 and listen... Name that animal, because you cant google sounds...yet. Its always in a marshy area and its much louder in person if that helps to identify it. I hear them all the time at night just beyond the treeline in the apartment complex & down along the road, but I have no idea what it is. I finally thought to bring the phone and record it. My best guesses include *large* frogs, turtles? raccoon? armadillo? Its a deep hollow sound (think tuba-like vuvuzela) which makes me think a larger animal but that just may be the ruse...
