Actually doing your prescribed cardio, not finding excuses to skip it is priority #1, so pick a time that suits you. Second priority is how hard you work: The harder you push yourself, the more calories burnt, so ideally, youll do it at a time when you have the most energy, or feel motivated. Thirdly comes fuel usage, ie. burning fat vs, burning carbs. In my opinion and experience, this is minutia, and is the reason why fasted cardio is possibly one of the most overrated concepts in fat loss programming. Dont stress about doing your cardio workouts fasted if you dont want to - it will make no difference in the grand scheme of things, despite what Johhny Mega-Pecs, IFBB pro says.
