Father accused of injuring baby On December 26 at approximately 6:00 a.m., deputies responded to a trailer park located in the 23000 block of Lone Tree Road to assist medical personnel. A request for medical attention was sought for a 4 month old child who suffered visible facial injuries. Deputies arrived as the child was being transported to the hospital via ambulance for treatment. It was determined the father of the minor child had fled the scene prior to medical personnel and deputies arrival. Deputies began investigating the incident and identified the victim’s father as 30 year old Michael Patrick Kimbler 30, of Cottonwood. During their investigation, deputies learned Kimbler was caring for his child and believed the injuries were sustained when he (Kimbler) was alone with the infant.
