Father and Son, the December 1936 notes: For over forty years our superintendent, John McCosh, has served the Cemetery faithfully and well. He has fulfilled the position with great credit not alone to himself and to the cemetery but to the lot owning public with whom he was in daily contact. The relationship of the Cemetery Superintendent and those in sorrow should be marked with understanding consideration and sympathy. Mr. McCosh has exemplified these qualities to a degree that has won for him a place of confidence and trust in the hearts of the people. Consequently the ill health that is compelling him to give up his duties occasions a real and widespread regret. For several years Mr. McCosh has been training his youngest son Richard now nineteen to gradually take his place. Though young in years Richard had been well reared and has exhibited those qualities that should make him a worthy successor to his father.
