Father, thank You for everything. Let Your will be done. I find freedom through seeking to please You above all else. I can have only one Master. If I let others expectations drive me, I scatter my energy to the winds. I own desire to look good can drain my energy. You are my Master, and You do not drive me to be what I am not. My pretense displeases You, especially when it is in Your service. I concentrate on staying close to You at all times. It is impossible to be inauthentic while I am focusing on Your Presence. I know that the prayer of the poor in spirit can simply be a single word; Abba. My simple sincere desire counts far more than any specific success or failure. When I try to pray and cannot, or when I fail in a sincere attempt to be compassionate, You touch me tenderly in return. Lord, thank You that You take joy on the simple, unpolished praise and prayers of Your children. Help me rest in Your love, Lord, so that I can worship You more freely. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
