Father thank You for this day. Many through our world is mourning today because death has taken lives of their love ones. Who or what gives authority for the killing of innocent children? Who can dine on the bizarre and exotic foods paying thousands for a single, a thousand dollars for a bottle of wine, a TV pastor owning multiple homes and those giving barely making ends meet? Father we have it all wrong. We made our rules and kicked Your Laws aside as worthless in this generation. Self rules and dominates while “love your brother as yourself” and “love your enemies” has taken a back seat. Father as we light our lights at Christmas let us also light our light within to show so many the way. We have the sick and hungry, homeless who need a helping hand loosen hearts and money to give. Help us to be mindful of others and their needs. We pray sincerely and hard for our children, many will be home for several days some without ample food, unattended and without parents who care. We pray for the lost among us and applaud those who day after day stand in the gap to spread the Word. The song said, ”Tell me one more time about Jesus, all about His mercy and grace”. We pray for our warriors and their safety. In Jesus name. Amen.
