Father, we have come to the first day of the week, a day we celebrate the Resurrection, the Ascension and Pentecost. We thank You for this day and the blessings we have already received. We are excited about our journey for today. We don’t know what will happen but You will be there. We just praise You. There’s a feeling of worship and glorification all around us. How can we not praise You? How can we glorify Your name? How can we not be secure? You and You alone is God. Father we look at our past and You were in all of it. We didn’t see it at the time but when the scales fell from our eyes we saw You. Now we seek You and trust You and believe Your Word. Without You Father we would be helplessly lost and doomed to death. That You Father for Jesus who paid our sin debt and took the sting of death away and destroyed the graves victory. We pray for those who don’t have this love, this joy and this peace. May this be the day. Our sick need healing and only You can heal. We have diseases that have crept in among us and eat away at our bodies. Father we need a miracle. Yes Lord let it be in the mighty name of Jesus! Right now Lord! From top to bottom. We rebuke those forces of evil that have taken many captive. Those forces that destroy, hurt and lead people astray. Father touch our little ones with Holy touch, one that will that keep them even in a hostile environment. Keep our warriors safe. In Jesus name. Amen.
