Fathers Day is not what it used to be. I,ve gotten used to many of the milestones I have faced since I became a widow, 3 1/2 years ago. I can jolly us thru Christmas, Birthdays, Thanksgiving, I can even look at his Birthday as a celebration of his life. But Fathers Day is a day devoted to Dads, and he was the best. And the fact tthaqt my kids have lost theirs, just seems so unfair to me. I,m so thankful they have each other, and are so close.. We will have our usual Sunday night dinner, and for dessert, banana cake, in memory of him.
