Faye Allison Slade Page (1945-2014) Ruffin, North Carolina - Mrs. Faye Allison Slade Page, 68, of 161 Loop Road passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hospice Home of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375. Online condolences may be offered to the family at booneandcooke. Mrs. Page was born in Caswell County, North Carolina, 8 November 1945, a daughter of James Nathaniel Slade (1902-1968) and Nettie Frances Allison Slade (1910-1995). She was a homemaker and worked for Chase Bag Company. Mrs. Page was a very happy person who loved laughing with her family and friends. She enjoyed dancing and loved all types of music. She was a member of Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lula Allen Slade Chaney (1937-2011) and a brother, James Edgar Slade (1933-1992). She is survived by her husband of 47 years (married 5 June 1966), David M. Page of the home; her daughter, Allison Michelle Page of Eden; her son, Michael David Page and wife Terri of Ruffin; her sister, Frances Mae Slade Robinson of Reidsville; her brother, Joseph Julian (Joe) Slade of Blanch; her grandchildren, Krista Nicole Page and Hunter Nathaniel Rogers; her step grandchildren, Casey Allen, Jodi Troxler, and Doug Troxler; her great grandchildren, Seth Allen and Kohen Troxler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
