Fb friends, I wanted to update you as to what is going on. Two weeks when I walked 600 feet there appeared a boo boo on the top of the middle toe on the left foot; therefore I havent walked since. The shoe doctor kept my shoes and reordered another pair and it will be around the 19th before he can come and meet with me and the Physical Therapist, so I guess there goes going home at the end of March! You know in all these months, The Lord is having a hard time teaching me patience or rather it is me having a hard time accepting the fact that I will go home on Gods timeline not mine. In the meantime, there are several older men that I have been reading the Bible to. In 3 readings we have read through 1 Corinthians. One day when I was outside and did not have my Bible with me, one of the men asked me to get my Bible and read to him.....maybe that is why I am still here? Please pray that my boo boo completely heals and the new shoes (with a deeper toe box) is what it takes to get back to walking and rehabilitating and walking out of here.
