Fear - What are you afraid of? Dr. David Jeremiahs message this morning was titled Danger, The Fear of Major Trouble. We all face storms in our lives, but how much of our time is spent in fear of what might take place and not focusing on the things of God. Dr. Jeremiah referenced two Old Testament verses that affirm and confirm that Gods word drives out fear. The words of David upon his capture by the Philistines in Gath. Psalms 56:3: Whenever I am afraid, I will trust you. The words of Isaiah as recorded in Isaiah 12:2: Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song: He also has become my salvation. We all face trials and challenges; and when we do how do we as Christians react and respond. Do we act as the world or do we call upon the Lord God Almighty with whom we call Father, through the blood of his only begotten son, Jesus Christ in whom we are to trust. Our lives should reflect that which we claim in order that this lost and dying world might see Jesus through us. Is your life any different than the lost?
