Fear is the initial evil component that prevents us from stepping out on faith. Fear does not come from Christ. We question 1) what if I fail? 2) what if my family friends and church think I am wrong and no longer want to continue these relationships? 3) how will I survive financially? 4) what if I lose all my earthly possessions ? It is not easy to do what Jesus asks us to do without knowing the outcome! That is when we decide to step out on faith. Sometimes were unsure if we have received the correct message. That is where you have to make a decision whether right or wrong....however, Jesus will give us that gut feeling to recognize/discern truth versus lies. By the worlds standards we are rejected ridiculed and denied opportunity. All of us should pray for wisdom! Ask Jesus to give you wisdom and discernment. There is a battle between good and evil, powers and principalities being fought I need the heavens above. I thank Jesus for guiding me and placing discernment in my heart as a spiritual gift. I did take a step recently and I was very much at peace with my decision. It turns out it was blessing for me. I am not great at taking risks. I really had to decide to turn it over to the Lord. I praise and thank Him for His provision.
