Feature Friday: Check out this great video from BC RCMP News celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Women in the Force. The video highlights various female police or peace officers who are currently serving proudly in BC. The video also features Retired Commissioner Bev Busson, who was a part of the first female Troop 17 in 1974. Retired Commissioner Busson served as the Commanding Officer of the RCMP in British Columbia for 6 years prior to becoming the RCMP’s first female Commissioner in 2006.
