Featured here is an incredibly rare autograph from an officer on the staff of Confederate Generals Thomas J. Jackson, Richard S. Ewell and Jubal A. Early. This is an amazing document with a direct link and reference to the legendary Stonewall Jackson! Alexander Sandie Pendleton was hand selected by Stonewall Jackson as an assistant adjutant general and served him faithfully until his death at Chancellorsville. Pendleton was killed in action at the Battle of Fishers Hill in September of 1864. This is a war-dated endorsement, in pencil, signed A. S. Pendleton A.A.G., on a provision return for Captain Samuel Myers, Commander of the 7th Regiment of the Virginia Cavalry from November 23rd, 1862-November 25th, 1862 Endorsed in the lower left, Approved by order Lt.
