February 14, 2014 at 11:20am From: Brian Campbell Sent: Saturday, February 08, 2014 11:21 AM To: David T. Guernsey, Jr. Subject: Thank You Many years ago I had a negative experience with Remington’s Customer Service department and have since held a grudge of sorts against the company. Today I learned of the Special Forces Charitable Trust and want to say that all is forgiven. As a retired SF officer, this action by your company has deeply touched my heart, and I will now be a loyal fan and customer of Remington. Thank you so much for what you are doing for my brothers and their families. The risks, sacrifices, and service of the Green Berets—in both war and peace—are not fully understood by the public or even the rest of the military in my opinion. The “quiet” part of being a Quiet Professional necessarily keeps most of the actions and duties of SF from public view; but, as you apparently know, there are no better Soldiers nor any organization or unit that contributes more to our national security and the protection of American freedoms and our way of life. This is a righteous cause, and I am very grateful to learn that Remington has taken it up. Thanks again. De Oppressor Liber! Brian S. Campbell, DO, MPH COL, US Army (Ret) *************************** The sharing of this communication with the public has been authorized by COL (Ret.) Brian Campbell and David T. Guernsey, Jr., Executive Director/Special Forces Charitable Trust
