By entering into the world of Narnia, many readers have also discovered Christ because the fictional world of Narnia not only represents a dramatic and engaging fantasy, but it also contains powerful Christian imagery. February 22, 6pm @ St. Margaret Mary Church, Oakland C.S. Lewis and the Catholic Church Pearce takes a look at the similarities between Lewis’ theology and Roman Catholic theology. Pearce also examines possible reasons why Lewis never became a Catholic, as J.R.R. Tolkien (a devout Catholic) hoped he would.
