Federalism rarely solves problems that some are claiming it may solve for Malawi! We shouldnt pay a blind eye to facts. We all know what will happen once federalism is introduced in Malawi. It will give birth to something new. Something that sober Malawians fear most. The regions will be powerful and they will make decisions that would even threaten the survival of Malawi as a state. We shouldnt think all Malawians are naive. We know where this whole thing is heading towards. Something like what happened in Rwanda in early 1990s is going to happen in Malawi if the pride of a few greedy bulls is not check. Trust me on this one. Those who are advocating for federalism seem not to understand how this whole thing works. It will be hard for other regions to support the North because they will be solely interested in developing their regions first before sharing with the North. I doubt if the northern region would realize enough revenue to survive. Yochokera kuboma imakhala yochepa coz boma silimatolera msonkho wambiri. I think this type of Ngwira-Induced-Federalism will do us more harm than good
