Feeling a little isolated today, like Ive pissed off just about everyone I can piss off. I swear thats not my goal. My goal is just to wrap my head around the belief that a perfect God, who made mankind in his perfect image, told those men that they were imperfect until they torturously cut off the most sensitive part of their genitals. Like seriously, WTF?? For those of you who claim it was Gods plan for keeping boys clean and free of STDs, couldnt your stupid God just design boys genitals right the first time, so they wouldnt have to be tortured upon birth? For those of you who say its the penalty of sin, seriously? Youre penalizing your newborn son for your sins? That is so demented and wrong. Theres just no getting around it. Theres no excuse. So Im sorry if Ive seemed cynical, negative, hateful, spiteful, unloving, etc. lately, but Im disgusted with humanity and Im just being honest about it. Theres a lot of mysteries in this world - things I dont understand, havent taken a side on yet, have changed my mind about, etc. - but one thing is perfectly clear to me, torturing infants and stealing their body parts is wrong. Period. And it pisses me off when people try to defend it. So Im sorry if that sounds mean, but I dont care. Standing up for the right of babies not to be tortured, maimed, traumatized and emotionally scarred for life is more important to me than your feelings.
