Feeling great sadness this morning watching our government get systematically overtaken by a philosophy that places the rights of the corporations and the mega-wealthy above the rights of women, the poor and less fortunate, and the people who are forced to work for corporations just to sustain themselves. I would hope that this might become a turning point in the complacency that has become endemic in our culture. It is a sad precursor to what will happen if we - as citizens - continue to remain uninformed and uninvolved.
