Feeling shallow and selfish. Upon leaving my house after that post, I saw a young lady in a wheelchair with 1/2 of one of her legs amputated. I see her most every day, out in every kind of weather so determined and strong. Ive talked to her a time or two with Zoe while we were on a walk. I dont have the courage to ask her about it / and trying to be polite not to ask. It really doesnt matter how we both met on the sidewalk, its just important to me that we have! She has been an inspiration more than once to me, and we havent even asked each others names. SHE is what I am thankful for this holiday. Her courage , determination and strength. Life has been pretty challenging for the past year and I tend to not mention the hard stuff on FB. My family, extended family x 2 or 3 :) and best friends are the ones that keep me breathing every day! THANK YOU !!! You have no idea how much you all mean to me. Near or far (distance in miles doesnt matter at all) !
