Feeling stumped on what to make for holiday dinners and parties? Our team has you covered! Every Friday our team will be sharing some of our favourite Holiday recipes! This week for Holiday Recipe Friday Amy is sharing her Mum’s Cranberry Nut Loaf. Enjoy! Cranberry Nut Loaf Sift: 2 cups flour 1 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp salt Add to above: 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp grated orange rind Mix together and add to above, stirring until just blended: 1 egg 2/3 cup milk 1 cup cranberries 1 cup chopped walnuts Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake in oven at 375 F for 50-60 minutes. *You could get all ingredients ready and mix together dry (cover till ready to assemble loaf), then assemble and bake next day. I would leave orange rind until time of baking to add in fresh. Fully cool before wrapping to give.
