Feeling very sad for Greg and Tonya Eastman and their family. Gregs mom, Pat, passed away this morning. I met her when Tonya became part of the Eastman family. She was an amazing woman. I called her the matriarch of Littleton, NH. She was very involved in the community. I remember how she loved attending town meetings and discussing local politics and economic development. Her interests were many and varied and she could speak intelligently on a vast number of topics. She was tough as nails, but generous, kind and unselfish. I have heard stories about how she would buy groceries or provide financial support for families in need, oftentimes anonymously. She was gracious and loving and knowledgable and interesting. I am grateful to have known her.
