If theres another update, I will share: THANK YOU Governor Beshear: Some big numbers first: Over 70,000 private (not Medicaid) insurance purchases; 20% of total enrollees are private; 49% of ALL enrollees are UNDER 35; 33% of PRIVATE enrollees are UNDER 35: As of 12:00 p.m. on Friday 3/28/2014 1.3 million unique visitors to kynect.ky.gov, viewing 51 million web pages. 817,626 people conducted preliminary screenings to determine qualifications for subsidies, discounts or programs like Medicaid. 350,386 Kentuckians are enrolled in new health coverage, including Medicaid and private insurance. 280,113 have qualified for Medicaid coverage and 70,273 have purchased private insurance. 49% of all kynect enrollees are under the age of 35. 33% of all private health plan enrollees are under the age of 35. 80,536 have been found eligible for a subsidy to purchase a qualified health plan, some have yet to select a plan. 18,351 have enrolled in stand-alone dental plans. 1,567 small businesses have started applications for employee coverage. 618 of those have completed applications and are eligible to offer coverage to employees. 729,076 calls processed by the kynect call center.
